Official Wedding Interpretation & Legal Documentation

While I specialise in symbolic ceremonies with no legal formalities, many couples also need a legally binding civil marriage recognised in Italy and abroad. For this, I work alongside Wedding in Tuscany, a trusted specialist with over 20 years of experience in official interpretation and legal documentation for foreign couples marrying in Italy. Together, we make sure your civil ceremony is understood, correctly translated, and fully valid in your home country.

What's Included

Support for your legal civil wedding

Certified interpretation during your civil ceremony at the Comune
Sworn translation of foreign documents required for marriage in Italy
Legalisation and apostille support for your paperwork
Liaison with the Comune and your local officiant
Guidance on the Nulla Osta and documents needed from your home country
How It Works

A trusted partnership, over 20 years in the making

If you're planning a legal civil ceremony at the Comune, I'll connect you directly with the Wedding in Tuscany team early in your planning. They handle the certified interpretation on the day itself, the sworn translation of your documents, and the legalisation or apostille process, so nothing gets lost between languages or paperwork. If you'd also like a symbolic ceremony to say your vows the way you actually want, I design and officiate that separately, either on the same day or elsewhere in Italy.

Please note: official interpretation, translation and legalisation services are provided directly by Wedding in Tuscany and quoted separately from my celebrant packages. See weddingintuscany.info for their services, or get in touch with me and I'll help coordinate both.
